Hi, my name is Patricia Truncali and I am an animal advocate. I am, like a lot of others out there, at the point financially where I do not care anymore who knows and who doesn’t know that we are struggling greatly every day just to live. I have fought the good fight and finally I am now bringing myself to asking for HELP!! I have a whole history of mental and emotional problems – enough that I was court ordered to have to undergo psychiatric treatment. I am participating in this now and this is where our money problems began. My husband has a job but does not make enough to pay for all of my expensive medications that I need, pay for the rent, utilities, a child, animal, food, etc. and yet, Disability has denied coverage for me – even though I did go to court to fight it. But, as we all know – there is no fighting the government agencies. They tell me he makes too much money. If he does then why are we starving?? I’ve heard many stories of denial from our system, which is paid for by taxpayers’ dollars. I have anorexia very badly which has, of course, taken its toll on my entire body and I won’t even go into detail about that.

The money that you donate would help our family greatly and this is what it would be used for: my medication: per month is costing – Neurontin (for seizures) $75.00, Abilify which goes with the Neurontin and helps with the anxorexia a bit, is $400.00 and Remeron for sleep disorder is $50.00 per month. So, my total just for drugs and of course that is not all of them – this is just the big ones I use, is $525.00 per month and this is with a discount from Walgreens.

I also have heart problems due to the anorexia so I have to go to a cardiologist each month and a neurologist also. They do have me on a sliding scale so that helps some. My psychiatric treatment is also sliding scale.

If we had enough money to pay for my drugs, my husband could at least handle the rent, utilities and food. And, of course, when you have a child and animals, they need not only your attention and love but the essentials like food and clothing for school and school expenses for my daughter. And, of course, with all of this, I cannot work so my husband’s income is all we have to live on.

I do have a talent for crocheting and making cute bracelets, crosses and it would be nice if I could grown that tiny business and actually make some money at it. Right now, I’ve been told my prices are way too low and I give half to rescues. So now I’ve been advised that I need to be taking care of me and my family first. That is why I am finally stepping up and ASKING FOR YOUR HELP. Please go and visit my website/store https://www.facebook.com/customcraftgifts.

I would sincerely appreciate very single penny that you can part with. I know that these are bad times here in our country (which I never thought I’d see) and there are a lot of you out there suffering right along with me. I am the kind of person who will give my last penny to a needy person but I am learning that I need to care for myself and my family.

In lieu of cash contributions, we would sincerely appreciate receiving gift cards for Shopright, Price Chopper and Hannaford (which are grocery stores directly in our area) and we would be thrilled to be able to use these to buy food for our table. If you choose to do this, my address is Patricia Truncali, 835 Blooming Grove Tpke #297, New Windsor, New York, 12553.

God’s blessings to each and every soul out there. May health and love be with you.   Patricia
