I have begun planning my 2015 veterinary volunteering trip.
I will be visiting a primate sanctuary and donating my skills to helping endangered species.
I have begun planning my 2014 veterinary volunteering trip.

I will be visiting Thailand and have been researching ethical elephant and primates sanctuaries, and there are an abundance of non-profit animal shelters seeking assistance with spaying and neutering abused and unwanted cats and dogs. If time and funds allow I would also like to visit Borneo to assist with orangutan conservation, and Sri Lanka, which also hosts elephant sanctuaries.

As a vet tech I like to offer my skills to help in the medical care and rehabilitation of endangered wildlife as well as domestic animals. Many animal sanctuaries offer food and board in exchange for first world veterinary care. This varies by institution, but any monies raised will go toward flights, visas, transportation, and food and board if necessary.
