Everyone has the freedom of choice. But I don't. Everyone has the right to love whoever they want, regardless of gender, sex and sexuality. I am in love with a wonderful woman but my gender identity is a woman as well, despite the fact that I was born male.

I come from a country where LGBT people have legal rights but despite that I am a victim and witness homophobia and transphobia daily in my country and from my own parents. Because of that, I cannot do anything as my country is considered “liberal”. I am stuck with no decent education and no life chances. I understand now that I will not have a decent education because of my parents' bigotry. But all I wish for is to work in a country that will understand my gender identity and to be with the woman I love.

My family has all turned away from me, and they want my girlfriend to either come over here or otherwise, me to dump her (they still think I am male, and if I ever tell them I am female, I will be kicked out in the street. I have no health benefits, I will not get a home, I will just be living in the street).

I want to get out of this nightmare, I want to be with my girlfriend, as well as you want to be with your girlfriend, boyfriend, and whoever you want to be with. That's why I am turning to you, people of Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, to ask you to help me. And only you can help me. All I'm asking for is 400 pounds, which I am short of, to work and love freely, in a country which accepts me and has accepted my girlfriend.

I am in University, but my university doesn't provide me with an education, as they are always on strike, and when they're not, the teachers plainly don't show up. My parents think that is normal. But how is it normal when I can't get a decent education? And once I finish my course, I will be unemployed. There are no laws protecting trans people from discrimination, both in the street and in work as well.

My parents call me lazy and laugh at me as they have the funds to pay for a course abroad but don't want to give them to me, instead they spend it travelling and shopping and providing my brother with designer clothes and funding his clubbing. They are willing to buy me a car, but not an education. They tell me to love this country. But how can I love this country when if I go out in female clothes I will be raped, beaten up, and left bleeding to death? The authorities won't even bother to investigate my death, and I will be buried in a country which chained me with the chains of bigotry and I will be listed as a man and never a woman. My parents believe I'm a straight man, and that with my looks I should leave my girlfriend, party, do drugs and “live a life”.

People fund the creation of Death Stars which will never be done, all I'm asking for is 400 pounds to get out, be a woman, love and be loved in return. I understand if you don't have the funds to even give me a pound. But please, share this message and help me see my beloved crying tears of joy as I leave the airport, finally free. Please give as much as you can, or as much as you wish to give. Thank you.
