Restoring Pictures: From One Repair to a Local Service
The "Aha!" Moment
It all started with a broken TV in my own living room. Like many of you, I was faced with a choice: throw it away or try to save it. I decided to take the back off, dive into the circuitry, and see if I could find the problem. After successfully repairing that TV myself, I realized two things: I have a real talent for this, and our community desperately needs an affordable, local expert to help them save their electronics.
The Vision: From Backyard to Business
Since that first repair, I’ve been building my workspace out of the back of my home and gathering the necessary testing boards and remotes to get started. But I don't just want to "tinker"—I want to provide a professional, reliable service for the whole island. To do that, I need to transition from a hobbyist setup to a legitimate, specialized repair shop.
What Your Support Will Build
I am raising funds to both equip my shop with high-end tech and to make the back of my house a truly professional environment for handling your expensive equipment. Your donations will go directly toward:
Professional Repair Tools: A high-end soldering/rework station and digital testing gear (like LED backlight testers) to find faults that basic tools miss.
Workshop Upgrades: I need to make my space "electronics-ready." This includes building custom anti-static workbenches and implementing dust and climate control to protect sensitive internal components from the Caribbean heat and salt air.
Secure Storage: Creating a safe, weather-protected area where your TVs can be stored securely while they wait for their "second life."
