Help Me Eat, Heal, and Live Without Pain Again

Hello, my name is KJ, and I’m humbly asking for your help as I face one of the toughest battles of my life.

For almost a year now, I’ve been unable to eat solid food due to severe dental problems. I need full dentures or dental implants so I can chew properly and finally eat again. Without them, I’ve developed serious complications — constant mouth pain, difficulty swallowing, and esophagus issues from trying to get food down. My stomach also suffers because I can’t digest properly.

Every day I live with pain and weakness from poor nutrition. I’ve lost weight, energy, and strength. I’ve tried to manage with soft foods and liquids, but it’s simply not enough. I desperately need proper dental care so I can heal, eat normally, and regain my health.

My Journey of Transformation

Just last year, I made the most important decision of my life — I gave my life to God.

Since that moment, my life has completely changed. I’ve been working hard to become a better man and live in alignment with God’s will.

• I quit smoking tobacco

• I stopped drinking alcohol

• I walked away from drug use

• I cut out toxic relationships and destructive habits

• And I’ve remained celibate and focused on my faith

It hasn’t been an easy road, but through God’s grace, I’ve been given a second chance at life. I’m proud of how far I’ve come — but now I need help to restore my health so I can keep moving forward.

My Daily Struggle

Even though my spirit is strong, my body is struggling. Because I can’t eat solid food, I’m constantly fatigued, malnourished, and in pain. My esophagus issues make it hard to swallow even soft foods, and my stomach problems have gotten worse over time.

I’m not healthy enough to maintain steady work, which makes it impossible to afford the care I need. The cost of full dentures or implants in my state can range anywhere from $20,000 to $45,000 or more, depending on the procedure. Without insurance, it feels impossible — but I’m trusting that with faith and the kindness of others, God will make a way. Addition: (I spoke with a dentist who claims they can help me into better shape for about $5000, so I changed the overall goal.)

My Hope and My Goal

My ultimate goal is to attend seminary once I’m healthy enough. I want to dedicate my life to helping others — to share how God saved me and transformed my life from the inside out. I believe He has a purpose for my pain and that this journey will one day allow me to reach others who feel hopeless or broken.

But before I can step into that calling, I need to heal. I need to eat real food again. I need to get out of constant pain.
