Hi my name is Jerome I’m doing this fundraiser for my son Benjamin

Benjamin is the happiest little guy I know out there

Benjamin has a very rare muscle condition called Allan Herndon Dudley Syndrome but that won’t stop him from making you laugh

Allan Herndon Dudley Syndrome is vary rare there’s around 250-300 cases in the world and not all the people that have it have the same symptoms 

right now we are going through the beginning of seizures Ben is having multiple types of seizures the sleep study showed he’s having 20-30+ seizures am hour some are really bad and others you wouldn’t be able to notice. having the seizures triggers muscle spasms which are vary painful for him and is causing his muscles to not relax properly from him being super stiff which long term will cause him to lose muscle function of his limbs 

Benjamin can not walk or talk he is going to school when we are not in the hospital with him he’s working towards being able to walk and talk I know he loves walking/running when we help hold him up them are some of the goals along with getting him the proper support and treatment from a specialist that know what they are doing there are a small few that actually study his syndrome 

One of the biggest fights we are fighting is insurance won’t cover a lot of his bills or even to go to a specialist I have a email from them stating they don’t recognize his symptoms 

this is a call of action I encourage you to help Benjamin with getting to a specialist every little bit helps
