Weytk, my name is Kanahus Freedom Manuel and I am a Secwepemc Ktunaxa Freedom Fighter and Land Defender with Tiny House Warriors.  I am asking for my friends, family, comrades, allies and supporters to help donate any amount $10, $20, $50, $100, $500 towards my legal fees that keep adding up. 

We are facing political and cultural persecution and facing fabricated, bogus politically motivated criminal charges at the hands of Canada, the crown and Trans Mountain TMX pipelines (which is crown-owned).  

I have 2 cases I am fighting, one is the criminal charge of "mischief" that happened at newly established Tiny House Warriors Moonbeam Camp, the wrongful arrest happened October 19, 2019, I was arrested along side Secwepemc Tiny House Warriors Isha Jules and the Trial has been set for June 16 & 17, 2021.  (The trial was originally set from April 2021 but my Lawyer withdrew a week before trial leaving me without a lawyer)

Because of the violent attack and arrest that the RCMP inflicted on me October 19th, I also have a lawsuit against RCMP Cpl Bowden, the arresting officer. 

This Law suit is very important to make the RCMP accountable to their violence they inflict on Indigenous female land defenders.

These are in addition to what I (and our supporters) have already paid.

** I have been arrested 3 times for Secwepemc resistance against Trans Mountain pipelines, first arrest crown refused to proceed with charges, first trial was Feb 2021, and last week was the judgement where I was found guilty of "theft" for a supposed padlock from the gate of the Trans Mountain pump station, with no physical evidence, witness or video footage (yet there were 3 video cameras rolling did not see me physically take the lock but I was still charged).  All these charges against my Tiny House Warriors family are all politically motivated and my family is being persecuted for our opposition to the Trans Mountain pipelines, Canada's largest tar sands infrastructure threatening our lives and lands right now.
