Key Mui Lou hasn't added a story.
A dedicated Father of young vibrant boys and Husband, Jason
Tan Wee Peng (41), needs your financial help and support in his
struggle to beat cancer. Jason is currently suffering from Stage 4
NPC Cancer.
This is Jason, my dear husband, in healthier times. Along with
us, Ashton and Brayton. This photo was taken in 2015.
I am Lou Key Mui, the wife of Jason, and I am writing to ask for your financial assistance. It’s been a draining struggle (both emotional and financially) for several years now.
Sometimes, I wonder how my husband can go through what he has gone through.
I wonder where he gets his strength to continue pressing forward.
It's a sharp dagger through my heart to see him in pain every day.
I am very proud of him and I will continue to support his will to continue living.
We are digging deep (emotionally and financially) and we are now into our final stand.
My husband was diagnosed with NPC (nasopharyngeal carcinoma) in May 2015.
He went through 7 sessions of chemotherapy and 35 radiotherapies and
he did a PET CT scan after that and was cleared by the oncologist.
Dec 2017: First recurrence. The ENT Dr did a surgery to remove
the tumor. Subsequently, the DR said the PET CT Scan showed the
result is good and no chemo and radiotherapy are needed.
Dec 2018: Second recurrence. The ENT Doctor did another surgery
for tumor removal. However this time the PET CT Scan showed the
surgery did little to help the removal of the tumor.
April 2019: Another ENT did a major operation to remove the
tumor. Subsequently, my husband went through 8 cycles of Chemotherapy
from May 2019 – July 2019.
July 2019: PET CT scan showed that the tumor is still in the
nose and has now spread to the lung area. My husband went through 10
targeted radiotherapy from July 2019 – August 2019.
Aug 2019: The ENT surgeon did another major surgery but this
time to remove the 5th nerve and muscle on the nose as cancer has
spread there. Because of this surgery, my husband couldn’t open his
jaw wide permanently.
Sept 2019 to Oct 2019:
Jason went through another 28
cycles of radiotherapy on the nose area.
Nov 2019: Pet CT Scan showed cancer tumor in the nose area is
now cleared however cancer has now spread to various parts of the body.

The life-threatening 50/50 surgery in Kuching,
Malaysia. Jason made it through this time but another obstacle awaits...
Present: With all local medical resources exhausted in
Malaysia, we have no other choice now but to seek treatment in Germany
for Hyperthermia Therapy.
However, the cost is now a big challenge as we have spent more than
USD75,000 in the past 4 years. With our savings depleted, we are
seeking your financial assistance so that my husband, Jason, can lead
a normal life and be given the chance to see his 2 boys grow up.
Without this treatment in Germany, Jason has only 6 months to
live.
Jason has always been a fun-loving guy and has always been
there for friends and family. He worked hard and enjoyed quality time
with his family. His kind nature has seen him rescuing and adopting
stray and dying dogs.
All this changed without warning when he started bleeding from
the nose one day and a quick visit to the doctor revealed the deadly
disease. As shocking as it was for the entire family, Jason took
things positively and started intense treatment in Malaysia.
All in all, Jason has gone through 72 Radiotherapy and 30
Chemotherapy in his long fight. He is not giving up as he wants to
live for family… for his sons.

After 30 RT sessions, a much weaker Jason still insists on
taking the kids to Sunway Lagoon Theme Park as he treasures his
remaining time...this is not over yet with your help.
With your help, Jason has a much higher probability of beating
cancer.
He is determined to live so that we can live to watch his sons
grow up.
He wants to live because he wants to be an inspiration to all
other cancer patients.
Please help Jason, my husband, beat cancer.
Please help my boys, Ashton and Brayton, grow up with a Father.
With your help, we can make it!
If you want details of Jason's medical report, we will be glad
to furnish you with all the details.
Thank you for taking time to read Jason’s story and thank you
for your donation, no matter big or small. Words cannot express our gratitude.
And if you can help us share out this post to spread the word,
that will mean the world to us.
