Hi my name is Catherine,I was one of those kids who loved horses & pony's but always found myself on the ground looking on as my friends had mega fun on there pony's going to pony camp and competition's something I could only dream about,I worked for free in local stables for lessons,the work always out weighed the value of the lessons but I didn't care I loved every minute of a day around horses,as a teen I got my first paying job it was to train as a horse riding teacher while working in a yard it didn't bother me that I was payed 52 pound a week as I loved what I was doing,but still found myself on the ground running around helping clients that had horses stabled there the dream of my own pony was long gone as I'd grown to horse size so I saved every penny of my 52 pounds not long after my exams I suffered a blood clot and had to leave work,life went on and my dream started to die I had a daughter and started to realize that I may never have a horse I could call my own,over the years I'd been given horses on loan and felt the fleeting joy of having a horse but just as they felt like my own there owner would take them back breaking my heart every time when my daughter was 3 I came across an add for a 2year old tb horse (an x race horse)the ppl selling him had spent a lot of money on him but found horse ownership is not for everyone he had been advertised for a long time and they had kept dropping the price ,a price I could afford we went to look at him and I fell in love even before trying to ride him he was mad as most young racehorses are ,I'll never forget the day we took him home I was smitten it took a year or so to get our bond but when we did it was magic I was living on a cloud we started going to endurance rides and he was fast he won rings around him he trusted no one but me when I registered him as mine it was a very special day and also the day we found out his worth his mother was a great race horse as was his father some of his brothers were also top racehorses I found out none of his full siblings sold for under TEN THOUSAND, I was shocked I never could have bought him ever if not for his owners having more money than sence life was the best all my dreams were now a reality till last April when he was stolen from his field at first I wasn't worried thinking kids had broke the fence and he just got out and I'd find him safe down in the bog but it was not to be he was nowhere to be found ,iv spend every penny searching for him its been 6 months now and there hasn't been one sighting since he is not replaceable but lv felt the joy of having a horse and life without is very deflating so a friend who knows how devastated and depressed iv been suggested that I have nothing to lose by doing this and even if its only hope its more than iv had for a while now ,I spent the last of my money, winnings from endurance rides on trying to find him and I'll never stop looking ,so if anyone could help in any small way to get another horse I would be forever grateful thank-you for taking the time to read this yours hopefully Catherine
