It allows you to order food, you may not even know existed before and the order is complete before getting to the window with a smoother transaction at the window and a happy customer. As for the proprietor he now has his workers saving time and making money and selling more food then before and always staying busy. He can offer monthly specials to his customers if they show there menus. Have several menus of different restaurants on a ring in your vehicle for when you need change. These menus are sold every two months to the establishments with basic giveaways such as free small fries discounts and so on...
