My husband and I have a wonderful little craft business that we want to make even better.  We have already launched a brand new website and are very extremely proud of it.  I used to be part of some of those 3rd party selling sites but it is time to be more professional.  Starting with our own domain, which we have accomplished.  

But now I want to improve the quality of our products and our packaging.  I currently use regular seed beads and I will be upgrading to premier delica seed beads.  I also am upgrading to using white boxes for packaging.  Before I was shipping items out in little plastic baggies.  Our customers who decide to spend their hard earned money only deserve the very best that I can offer!!  To get more in depth on the changes that in the works, please take the time to read my blog post : "Yes, We Are Under Construction!!".

In order to do all of this, we are seeking $1500 to get this project going.  I have researched several prices and believe that I have found great quality along with affordable prices.  

To start off with the packaging, I need to be able to place an order of at least $150 for my first initial order.  This will cover 100 of each various size of jewelry gift box that I plan on using plus any additional garnishment to improve presentation.  I will also be printing out clear labels to promote my brand on these boxes.  I am also allotting an extra $100 to search for and purchase better packaging for my dream catchers. 

The next and most important thing on the agenda is getting the proper beads to create quality items - especially my gorgeous beaded jewelry.  So I am looking to spend at least $500 for my first major order to Fire Mountain Gems just on beads.  I also would like to add $150 for findings and such.

The balance of the funds will be spread out for various items to improve the behind the scenes of running a business. I do know that I will be investing in Bead Manager Pro program for $149.  This program helps with various pricing, book-keeping, inventory control and invoicing issues, so I can devote more time to creating.  I also need to purchase a pop-up canopy and tables so I can participate in local area events.  I am in the process of researching various advertising and promotions that I am still trying to fine-tune the pricing on.

Once I reach our goal of $1500, I will be re-working ALL of the reward items offered in the NEW beads.  So investors will be receiving the VERY FIRST ITEMS with the new beads!!!

 As I rebuild my stock, I will be placing all of the items made with the older style of beads on clearance, so I can recoup the funds and re-invest the proceeds back into the business.
