In 2010 Juno was released from a research laboratory. At 5 years old the whole world was new to her. Ever brave she took to her new life quickly and in 11 short months became a certified therapy dog. Juno has traveled across the US as the ambassador and spokes-beagle for research dogs throughout the world. In recent weeks she has expereinced some serious medical problems as yet to be diagnosed. 

She as undergone many bloodtests and while everything looks normal her behavior in recent weeks says otherwise. Seeking out and eating things that are not food have landed Juno in at the emergency vet and surgery revealed she ate a piece of a toy, something she has never done before. 

She has a team of experienced and wonderful vets trying to figure out what has compelled her to eat things that she would not normally. 

Juno has a lot of work to do as the chief ambassador and spokes-Freegle for the BeFreegle Foundation, a unique non-profit that offers dogs used in research sanctuary when their studies are complete. But Juno needs your help. Her medical bills are well over $5,500 since her surgery and likely to climb until she is able to be diagnosed. 

She spent the first 5 years of her life in a laboratory but since her release has done so much for the cause of animal testing including to help raise awareness for this outdated practice and helping to give practical advice on how each of us can help to realize the day then animals are no long used in research.
