Hello Friends. My Sister, Nikki Readence, joined this Church a few years ago.  And y'all know me, how I am about organized religion... I never said a word to her about it.  It's her life, her choice, her faith.  I didn't say one thing to her about it, even though I dislike organized religion and wondered WTF she was thinking.  And in the past few years that she's been going to this Church, she has become a better person and has made lasting friendships with good people.  She has helped homeless people at shelters, offered support to abused women, given love to orphaned kids, the List goes on. 

Point is, she has been changed by this Church (I don't even know the name of it), and she has helped to change the lives of others.  In doing so, she has been given the opportunity to spend some time in a country that needs help.  She had the options of going to Africa or Ireland to support children who need schooling, care, love and compassion.  She (wisely, I think) chose Ireland. 

Perhaps later, when she has a few of these things under her belt, she will visit a truly ravaged place and come face to face with diseased infants and dying mothers, but for now, this is a good start.  I wouldn't want my Sister going to a poverty stricken region and trying to emotionally deal with these things, not to mention the sort of contagious ailments she might catch. (She has a terrible immune system. She gets sick 18 times in one fucking year.)

Anyway... She signed up for this trip to Ireland to help the kids there.  And she needs to raise some money to be able to go with her Church group for a week or however many days.  I honestly don't know all the details about the trip or what sort of aid they are expected to provide there, but the Church she joined is very active in just about every aspect regarding the condition of human deprevity.  I am sure they will succeed in their mission. 

I suggested that she use Fundrazr here on FB and she didn't want to, but I will.  If anyone can donate some to her cause, it would be greatly appreciated.  $5.00 or $10.00 or $50.00... Whatever you can spare.  You guys know me.  I can assure you, this isn't a scam to get your money and it's not to fund my Sister's wild vacation.  It's a legitimate Church group mission and I know they will provide support to children in need, just like they do here in America.
