Professional racing doesn't happen without sponsors. Sponsorships are traditionally expensive, and only the elite can afford them. It's time to do micro sponsorships. For a smaller donation, you become the sponsor of my team's effort to win the CTSCC championship in 2014.
We're taking grassroots to the next level. Sign up now with your donation, and you'll have my eternal thanks. I'll mention your sponsorship in interviews and appearances. You get to be the proud virtual team owner for a small fraction of what it would cost to sponsor the entire car. Think of it like getting your Lordship or Ladyship by buying one square foot of land in an old Scotish castle.
What do you get? Here's what I've come up with so far, but I'd like your ideas for more:
$50 - practice lap dedicated to you, with video posted of the lap.
$100 - race lap dedicated to you, with video posted of the lap.
$250 - practice lap video with data overlay, just for you.
$500 - race lap video with data overlay, just for you.
$1000 - a day of personal coaching with data and video.
$1500 - I'll drive an amateur endurance race with you.
$2500 - a full 3 day weekend of personal coaching with video and data.

I will provide a day of personal coaching in your vehicle on a track of your choosing. This does not include travel costs, which you would have to cover. If you're working at a track where I happen to already be, there would not be a travel cost for you. If you want to pool with other sponsors to get me to a track to work with you all, you can split the costs. I can do more than one coaching per day, but will have to limit it to people in different run groups. You'll need to provide me your run group information so I can manage between multiple sponsors. If you don't have data collection, not to worry as I have a VBOX Sport and a GoPro.

If you're an amateur racer, racing with a pro can let you know how well you really know your car, and even help you with setup and which lines to take for different purposes. If you have an endurance race for the weekend, I'll coach you for the day, drive one practice session (or portion), and race an endurance race with you, changing at the fueling stop. I can either start or finish - your preference. Most amateur organizations (BMWCCA, PCA, POC, SCCA, NASA, etc.) will allow me to race with you based on my IMSA or FIA class B International license. Check with your local race steward to make sure they will allow me to race in your group with my license and in your car.

If you have a track day or race weekend coming up, and want that little extra push to get you over your plateau, or just some intense instruction with video and data, this is the way to go. If you don't have video or data logging on your car, that's fine as I have a GoPro and VBOX Sport. I'm happy to use those at no extra charge. The only thing you'd have to cover is transportation if it's not a track where I already plan on being for my own racing activities. I'll need to know your run group so I can manage multiple sponsors over a weekend. If there are multiple sponsors and travel costs are involved, you may split them with the other sponsors.
