March for Jesus Edmonton Fundraising
March for Jesus is an event geared at bringing followers of Christ together on the streets for a celebration and a witness to the people of Edmonton and a trumpet call toward the principalities and powers that rule the province. Edmonton, the Capital of Alberta is a strategic place to bring the message and power of Christ. When we, with one voice and in one accord, stand boldly and proclaim Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords, it has power.
Concerned Christians Canada has been successful in co-organizing other marches in other cities. For example, we partnered in Calgary and were one of the two organizations that brought the March for Jesus back after ten years of absence.
It is time once again for Edmonton to have a March for Jesus and many people have been asking us when it will be restored to Alberta's capital. We believe that time is now, but there are many costs involved with putting on a March for Jesus and we need to be sure that the city that says it wants the march will help to make it happen.
Permits are required, equipment rentals, road closures, police escorts, food and refreshments need to be provided, etc. In order to bring the March for Jesus together in Edmonton, we need your help and support. Volunteers and finances will be needed to make the March for Jesus Edmonton a reality again.
If you or your church would be willing to help us with donations or volunteers, we would very much appreciate your support in enabling thousands to enjoy a celebration for Christ on Father's Day 2013. Let's work together and make the March for Jesus Edmonton 2013 a reality.
