Stand With Faith
For those who know Faith, this has been one of the most difficult seasons our family has ever faced. We are reaching out with humble hearts to ask for your support as she begins the next step in her fight for justice.
Faith has always believed that when a community sees a need, it should step up and meet it. That belief led her to create Faith4Hope—a grassroots program built from the ground up through determination, sacrifice, and countless hours of service. It was never about personal gain. It was about creating opportunities for children, supporting families, and investing in a community she loves.
Over the years, Faith4Hope served real children, real families, and real people in the Fargo-Moorhead community. During the trial, parents and children shared how the program positively impacted their lives. Those stories remind us why Faith began this work in the first place.
Although a jury returned a guilty verdict, we respectfully disagree with the outcome and believe the appellate process deserves to fully examine the legal issues raised during the trial.
Throughout the proceedings, much of the case focused on technical questions involving grant requirements, documentation, and regulatory compliance. We believe these issues overshadowed the most important question: Faith's intent. From the beginning, she worked in good faith to build and sustain a program that served children and families who needed support. We continue to believe that good-faith efforts to serve a community should not be mistaken for criminal intent.
Faith has retained experienced appellate counsel and is exercising her legal right to appeal the conviction. Appeals are complex, time-consuming, and expensive. The legal fees, transcripts, court costs, and other required expenses create a significant financial burden on our family.
Many friends, supporters, and members of the community have asked how they can help. This fundraiser is our answer.
Every donation—large or small—will go toward Faith's legal defense and appeal. Your generosity will help cover attorney fees, court transcripts, filing costs, and other expenses directly related to the appellate process.
