Dear Friends, Kind Strangers, and Anyone reading this,
It takes every ounce of my pride and courage to write these words, but I am doing this for the two most important people in my world—my two beautiful children.
I am a mother of two, and for a long time, I tried to handle life's storms on my own. Looking back, I have to be completely honest with myself and with you: I made wrong choices. I managed my life and finances poorly, slipping into a cycle of bad decisions and loans. At the time, I was just trying to keep our heads above water, but the snowball rolled too fast, and today, the mountain of debt is simply too high for me to climb alone.
As a mother, the hardest part isn't the financial stress; it’s the suffocating guilt. My children deserve a peaceful home, a mother who smiles instead of crying in secret, and a future that isn't shadowed by my past mistakes. I want to teach them that when we fall, we take responsibility, we learn, and we ask for help to get back up. I am not looking for an easy way out, and I am already working hard to restructure my life and get professional guidance. But to give my children stability and a fresh start right now, I desperately need a safety net.
