My name is Roy. I’m a loving husband, a C-5/C-6 quadriplegic, and someone who refuses to let my circumstances define me. Life changed for me in an instant when I sustained a spinal cord injury, but my faith, determination, and passion for helping others have kept me moving forward.
One of my greatest joys is encouraging others who are newly injured — visiting them in hospitals, sharing my story, and showing them that life after injury can still be meaningful and full of purpose. This vehicle will allow me to continue visiting and encouraging others with spinal cord injuries. Supporting this isn’t just helping me — it helps others I reach.”

A new wheelchair-accessible truck would not only restore my independence but also allow me to continue doing what I love most — helping others, getting to my doctor’s appointments, meet with potential clients, attend church, visit family and friends, and continue serving others in the spinal cord injury community.
