A nevem Alexandra , férjemmel Szabolccsal és két gyermekünkkel, Szandival és Szabival élünk egy kis magyarországi faluban, Hejőkeresztúron .
Néhány évvel ezelőtt szerencsénk volt, és állami támogatást nyertünk egy kis mezőgazdasági projekt elindításához, amelyben mangalica sertéseket tenyésztenek, egy hagyományos magyar fajtát, amelyet igazán szeretünk. A megállapodás értelmében 5 évig kellett tartanunk és tenyésztenünk az állatokat – és bár nehéz volt, az állatok iránti szeretetből és odaadásból 7 évig folytattuk .
Unfortunately, after the COVID pandemic, the African swine fever, and several new farming restrictions, we could no longer continue. We were losing money every month — even our own salaries went into feeding and caring for the pigs. Eventually, we had no choice but to stop.
Now, because of a paperwork mistake in the original
contract, the government is demanding that we repay 12 million
forints (around 32,000 USD).
We have no savings and
are working hard every day to support our children, but we simply
cannot pay such a huge amount. The authorities have set a deadline of
March 5, 2026 — and if we cannot repay it by then,
we will lose our car, our home, and everything we own.
We never tried to cheat or take advantage of the system. We worked honestly and did everything by the rules. This situation has broken our hearts — we just want to keep a safe home for our children and continue working for a better future.
