As many of you know, my twin sister Curry was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer, appendix cancer, about three years ago. In March, we received the incredible news that she was officially in remission. We were overjoyed and so thankful she could finally begin to experience a better quality of life without constant treatment.

Sadly, this week we received devastating news: the cancer is back. She will now have to undergo aggressive treatment, including chemotherapy and a very invasive surgery called HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy).

Along with these treatments, Curry will also be pursuing supportive therapies like acupuncture, which can offer her much needed relief during chemo. Unfortunately, many of these treatments and therapies are not covered by insurance, and the financial burden is significant.

Curry is one of the strongest and most incredible mothers I know. Despite everything she has faced, she has remained resilient, full of love, and fiercely devoted to her children. She would never ask for anything herself, but I am reaching out on her behalf.

I’m asking our family, friends, and community to consider giving during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the financial pressure and allow her to focus on healing and being present with her family.

Most importantly, we ask for your prayers. We believe in the power of prayer and know that God is still able to do the unimaginable. We are holding on to faith, even in this storm.
