I am Leonid TINEO, currently Vice-President of the Alumni Association HAGGAI Venezuela

I am very excited and very honored by the privilege to represent my nation in the HAGGAI Global Advisory Council 2023

This series of HAGGAI International meetings occur every three years, the most recent being held in 2017, and in 2020 it could not be held due to the pandemic.

The Haggai Global Advisory Council (HGAC) was established to build a bridge on a global level between Haggai International and Haggai leaders, which helps keep everyone focused on Haggai’s vision and mission. The group meets every three years and is composed of the presidents, secretaries, and executive directors of the various alumni associations. (www.haggai-international.org)

Our vision in HAGGAI is Every nation redeemed and transformed through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is To equip and inspire strategically positioned leaders to more effectively demonstrate and present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to prepare others to do the same. HAGGAI Global Advisory Council 2023 will take place at Le Meridien Dubai Hotel; Conference Center, Dubai, U.A.E., from September 28 to October 1, 2023

My country, Venezuela, has never before had the conditions to participate in the HAGGAI Global Advisory Council, and for the first time this year we have this opportunity.

This dream is threatened by the economic challenge it represents, which I cannot afford on my own.

The prices of air tickets leaving from Venezuela have become very high, due to the country risk, which makes it more expensive than from other South American nations.

Also, here in Venezuela a high price is paid for the issuance of the passport; Additionally, to enter the United Arab Emirates, Venezuelans have to pay a high price for visas and government processing fees in that country.

Due to the very high price of the tickets from Caracas, my departure will be from Bogotá, but this means that I have to travel to Colombia to be able to go to Dubai

The roundtrip flight itineraries between Bogotá and Dubai are such that I find it necessary to spend one night in Dubai before the event and also one night after the event, which involves lodging, transportation and food costs that are not covered by HAGGAI International, and I must bear these expenses.

For this reason, I turn to you to be my ally in making this challenge come true that my nation, Venezuela, is represented in this HAGGAI Global Advisory Council

I think that if you were in a case like mine, you would probably be doing the same thing that I am doing now; Even more, I tell you that if it were so, I would contribute to you, in obedience to Jesus, who said:
