JANUARY'S VET & BOARDING BILLS OF MERLIN;
When Merlin was
rescued last October, his health condition was deteriorating, besides
that he lost one of his eyes, and with intensive medical care inside
the boarding, his health condition improved significantly, but
unfortunately, by the end of December he had experienced a sudden
deterioration in his health again with a deterioration in the
condition of the other eye which was healthy.
At the beginning
of January, Merlin has visited the vet ,and a blood tests &
ultrasound were done, and it was ok , but he is dehydrated and so
weak, and by examining the eye it became clear that the cornea had
been destroyed, and the doctor believed that it was possible that he
had been exposed to the Herpes virus or Chlamydia and that is what
caused the rapid collapse of the eye condition. The doctor decided
that he has definitely lost the first eye, but there is a little hope
in saving the second one, and that he will discuss the possibility of
performing a surgery to implant a new lens, but until the decision is
made to do the operation, he must continue to put the medical eye
drops, after we failed to put Plasma in the eye because the difficulty
of withdrawing the blood from him. During January, with medication,
solutions, and a special food made for the sick cats to help him
recover, Merlin began to recover again and gained weight.
We are
now in desperate need to pay the boarding bills due on the 20th of
January, and pay the bills for the clinic, treatment and special food.
