My name is Dave Heugel and after the big success last year I want to use my birthday on December 24th again to help animals in need. During my trip to the north of Thailand some weeks ago I was visiting an elephant sanctuary. They do an amazing job, rescuing elephants which were mostly used to carry tourists for elephant safaris and allowing them to live a peaceful life without torture together with other elephants. They are my favorite animals, and I was deeply touched by how playful they are if you let them live in a their natural environment. Right now is a difficult time, elephants eat a lot, around 10% of their own weight every day and through covid there are no tourists who usually come and visit those sanctuaries and that money helps to feed the elephants. Now with no tourists these sanctuaries are in a difficult situation. Most of the work is already done from volunteers, but the little money that comes in is simply not enough. Your donation will make such a big difference to them, even if it's only 2 $.
