HELIONOX is a movement based deck building strategy board game for 1-4 players. It supports three different game modes:
- Competive
- Cooperative
- Solo
The game time is around 20 minutes per player.

The Basics of Game Play
Set in the distant future, players compete for “Influence” by obtaining powerful technology and operatives, overcoming devastating events, and establishing embassies on different worlds. But time is limited! Once the last card of the “Event Deck” is played, the game is over. The player with the most "Influence" at the end wins.
Events
Each turn, the current player places the top card of the Event deck at its Location.
Movement and Embassies
On your turn, you will draw 5 cards. A basic hand will consist of Credits and Defense. Defense is used to Overcome events while Credits allow you purchase cards, change locations, and place Embassies.
Cryo Counters
At the beginning of each turn you will remove a Cryo Counter from your Architect. Any time during your turn, if your Architect has no Cryo Counters, you may place counters on it to activate an ability. These are powerful abilities but cannot be used again until your Architect is no longer in Cryo, (i.e. has no Cryo Counters on it).
