Gooday, my name is Kirby Dylan Roach, but my friends and family call
me Kirby D! I am in 7th grade. My favorite subjects in school are
Science & Math. I am on the Robotics team for the first time and
really like it. When I'm not doing homework or practicing piano, I
LOVE to play Legend of Zelda video games, along with a few others ;-)
My friends and I like to act crazy and have sword fights, play some
hoops, swim in the summer and lots of trampoline juming (even in the
winter)!! I LOVE the ocean and have always dreamed of snorkeling
"The Great Barrier Reef". Now that dream will come true as
I get ready for the adventure of my young life. I will get to do SO
many other things like a private "Down Under" tour of the
Sydney Opera House, explore the Rain Forest, get up close with
Australian wild life, hang with some awesome Aboriginals and so much
more. I still can't believe that this is happening! I will get to
stay with a host family for part of the trip and that will be awesome.
I can't wait to make new friends in Australia!!! I'm also excited
to get to see my Auntie Lynn and Uncle Evan who live in Melbourne
Australia.
It was a leap of faith for our family to take
on this kind of financial obligation, but we are trusting God to help
us work hard and do what we can to raise the over $8,000.00 needed to
make this happen. We will start making $1,000 monthy payments
IMMEDIATELY.
