Tourettes Syndrome: As some of you may or may not know, both my son Mike and I have Tourettes.  I am stepping out of my comfort zone and using social media for something other than showing phony photos of how great my life is, or pictures of the food that I ate last night.  I am using NoshaveEmber as a means to raise awareness to this pain in the ass disease.  1 in 1,000 are diagnosed with it and it runs in the family.  It is often misdiagnosed as a ton of other things before it is determined as Tourettes. Basically, it is ADHD with OCD, mood swings, and a sprinkling of tics and noises. (Good Times). As of now, there is no cure or medication that works.  Some famous people who have it and appear normal are; Tim Howard ( Secretary of Defense), David Beckham, Dan Aykroyd and Mozart.  You're still here? Wow!  Anyway, to find out more you can check out the website, www.tsa-usa.org.     NoshaveEmber is really used as a month to be lazy.  They have no main charity that they are affiliated with and they just appreciate the fact that they are being recognized.  I like being lazy.  So why not do it for a good cause?  I am asking people to grow their beards for one month without shaving.  When people ask you why you look like crap,  say you are doing it to raise awareness for Tourettes.  Ladies, I don't recommend you doing this but feel free.  I would also like to raise $500 bucks for tsa.  I know, nobody has extra cash. Scraping pennies myself.  Instead of tipping the people at Dunkin Donuts for doing their job... drop a buck or two here!   Thanks, and let it grow! Would also love if you posted pics of your hairy face.   - Jay
