Jacob Schweinsberg hasn't added a story.
John Sexton is a great man who is in need of a little help. He is the father of twin daughters Jenna and Jessica, and a wonderful husband to his wife Debbie.
Before I tell their story, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Jacob Schweinsberg and I have been dating John's daughter over four years. I've spent a lot of time with their family, and I would like to help them out as much as I can.
In 2007 Debbie was diagnosed with brain cancer. She went through a brain surgery and all the chemo and radiation that goes along with it. Eventually the tumor went in to remission, for about 5 years. During this time Debbie's brother Steve passed away from cancer. Through those 5 years many memories were made. Debbie loved cycling, and doing anything that involved exercise. She was an outstanding mother, and an extremely caring individual. Unfortunately a check up in 2013 showed that the cancer had came back. An MRI revealed that the cancer was now stage four and it was going to be much more aggressive now. In March of 2013 they decided to operate again and start a course of chemo once more. Since then Debbie's health has steadily decreased and now has a short time to live.
To make matters worse Jenna was involved in a car crash several days before her birthday, thankfully she wasn't injured, but the car was totaled. As if things weren't hard enough on them, John and Debbie were driving on the highway and were a part of an accident going roughly 70 miles an hour. The truck rolled several times and landed on the side of the highway. John suffered a cut the the head that had to have several staples placed. He also has a partially fractured clavical from his seatbelt. Debbie thankfully suffered no damage from the accident, however it added another totaled car to the list.
John is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served our country for 20 years. He works very hard as an air traffic controller to support his daughters through college. As you can imagine, all of Debbie's treatments, medications, and now the cost of the insurance from totalling the cars can add up extremely quickly. John was working as an air traffic controller up until Debbie was not able to take care of herself. Now he stays with her 24/7 and cares for his wife, which means that he cannot work. He has used all of his paid vacation alloted by his work, but has decided to stay with his wife on leave without pay. As of right now he has no steady source of income, but still needs to take care of his family. All I'm asking for is any sort of donation, big or small, anything will help. Please find the kindness and generosity in your heart to help John and his family through these hard times. Thank you for your time.
