Kiely Healy is a 12yr old female resident of Chandler, AZ. She is an amazing young lady who is extremely athletic and in just a few years, has quickly achieved multiple prominent titles within her sport. Kiely has been training in martial arts since October of 2010. Kiely chose martial arts as her sport initially to do something different than her older sister. After signing up at a local dojo and attending her first class, she was immediately hooked and has been training or competing 6 days a week since. She currently trains at 4 different schools within the valley that each specialize in different skill sets. Kiely is so committed to her sport that she often lists her own craigslist adds selling old toys and belongings to help fund private lessons so she can improve in her sport. Kiely has climbed to the top of her sport at an alarming rate. She began competing locally and nationally in 2012, quickly earning state and national titles in sparring and forms. Kiely chose to only compete nationally in 2013 in an attempt to seek out the toughest competition she could find. In 2013, Kiely has earned the titles of AZ competitor of the year as well as four national titles and a world title for 2013. In total, Kiely now holds 2 state, 6 national and 1 world title. Kiely is currently training to prepare for the worlds largest and most prestigious tournament in the world called the U.S. Open which is July 11th and 12th in Orlando, FL. This tournament attracts top competitors from over 40 different countries and will give Kiely the opportunity to compete against the best the sport has to offer. Your donations will help fund her travel expenses, hotel accommodations and tournament fees to this event giving her the opportunity to fulfill a dream. Thank you for your considerations.
