There are so many things left to say. But I guess some things are better left unsaid. No matter what you say, I will always be your daddy's little girl. And you will always be my hero... My name is Nadia; my 60-year-old dad was diagnosing with Terminal extended small cell cancer in both lungs, and liver. The entire process has moved faster than I’m emotionally able to deal with. There is nothing in life that can prepare a young woman for a situation like this. But I have to be strong, because I cant imagine as a father as a man, what he is going through. He is no longer able to work and is in constant pain, making it only possible to get out of bed to go the bathroom or the doctors. He has lost a lot weight, strength, color, and the pride of most men. The doctors will be hitting him harder with another round of chemo this coming Monday.

Today is Thanksgiving and I’m especially thankful for my dad; he has been such an incredible part of my life. I am thankful of all the memories and moments we’ve shared. Thank you for always being there, no questions asked, for always believing in me... Being proud of me... And loving me unconditionally. The best way I can sum up the greatest gift my father ever gave me... is simply... Being my father......

I have to have faith and hope, that one day my dad will be the one to walk me down the aisle, and to hold his first grandchild. The gift I want to give back to my dad, is love, faith, and hope. I want to be his strength, his smile, I want to help make this situation as least stressful and overwhelming as possible.

I ask for the help of loved ones, family, friends, and cancer supporters, to make a donation to help with the medical bills. I also want to help my little brother living on the mid west, with travel expenses so he is able to spend more time with dad. I don’t know how to properly express my gratitude, but as a symbol of my appreciation and love, I will be getting “My Fathers Strength” tattooed, as a daily reminder of the love and support we have had from all, through this experience.
