Sirena Wiley hasn't added a story.
Ben Wiley Jr was born Oct 27, 2011 with raw hands and feet, along with blisters and raw skin areas in his mouth. It was a dramatic experience for him, his family, and a medical team that had no clue what was wrong. Sept 2012 the Wiley family was informed that Ben Jr was to be diagnosed with JEB ( Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa) One of the severest types of EB. Most children diagnosed with this type, do not live to the age of one. But, Ben Jr... he has defied the odds! And this October 27th.... He will turn 2 years old. He is walking, talking, and SMILING more then ever and most of all, he is BEATING EB everyday. Although doctors say that EB will never go away, Ben Jr lives each day to the fullest, even if he is raw on his feet, fighting infections, even if his hands are covered in blisters..... and he does it with the BIGGEST BRIGHTEST SMILE!
"IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD" 2 CHRONICLES 22:10-24:2
Imagine that VILLAGE size to raise a child as fragile as a BUTTERFLY?!!?
Special gauze, dressings, ointments, food, formula, cleaning products, special diapers, medical trips that require over night stay. It all adds up! On top of everyday bills, and needs. Ben Jr's parents are the only people that do his dressing changes, they do not have nurse's that help. Ben Jr never gets a break, and neither do his parents. Please show your support to help the Wiley family during this special time, to help make Ben Jr's birthday and life a little easier.
God Bless you.
