Yvaine Lazaro is 4 years old with a large imagination, an appetite for anything sweet, and the biggest smile that can light up a room. Her laugh is infectious and her hugs are super tight.

Yvaine was admited to the Novaliches General Hospital after on May 13, 2013 after constantly vomiting. Her WBC were high. And all that the doctor could tell us was that she had an infection. When we returned home, she would complain that she had a headache and always wanted the lights closed. She wouldn't eat because was always vomiting.

A week later, we noticed her eyes began to cross. We thought she was doing this voluntarily but it wasn't so. We transferred her to Bernardino General Hospital and she was confined there. The doctors suspected her to have meningitis and ordered an MRI & CT scan. However, Yvaine acquired pneumonia and the diagnostics had to be put on hold. At the hospital, she still kept vomiting, was always asleep with a fluctuating fever every night and felt irritated.

On June 1, she had a CT scan. Our niece Yvaine was diagnosed with meningioma (a brain tumor) that night after 3 weeks of being in the hospital. Secondary to her diagnosis, was pneumonia on her left lobe. The tumor is on her left cerebrum & now 1/8 of her brain and growing. It's affected her vision and coordination. She can't stand and loses balance.

Yvaine needs an immediate operation as soon as possible before the abnormal cells continue to spread. Her neurologist request that we go to Philippines Children's Hospital. Truth is, even though we chose a gov't hospital to ease the weight of the cost, we still cannot afford the amount estimated by the neurologist. & even so, Yvaine was placed on the waiting list for surgery that could take weeks. On behalf of our family, we are pleading & asking you, our friends & relatives, from the bottom of our hearts to please help us out financially.

If you're able to help make a donation, it would be a BIG help to our family. Please continue to pray for Yvaine's recovery. Thank you & God bless.
