Meet Adonias Merke Tadesse, a precious 9-month-old baby boy who has spent much of his young life fighting to breathe.

For the past five months, Adonias has been battling a serious and rare lung condition that makes it increasingly difficult for his body to get the oxygen it needs. He is currently in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Kadisco General Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where his family has remained by his side through hospital stays, treatments, and countless frightening moments.

Doctors have now told the family that Adonias urgently needs specialized medical care and a lung transplant evaluation abroad. The goal is to transfer him to Germany, where he can receive the advanced care he needs. This treatment represents his best chance at survival and could save his life.

The total amount needed for Adonias’s treatment and medical transfer is approximately $98,000. Through the generosity of family and friends, about $62,000 has already been raised. We are now asking for help raising the remaining $36,000 needed to get Adonias to Germany and continue his care.

These funds will help cover his medical evaluation, treatment and hospitalization, international medical travel, transportation, accommodation, and other essential expenses related to his care.
