For my Bar Mitzvah project, I wanted to turn creativity into kindness.
My family is from Venezuela, so when I heard about the
devastation caused by the recent earthquakes, it felt very personal.
I wanted to do something to help the people in Venezuela.
I am 3D printing special keepsakes as a small token of
appreciation for donors. The funds raised will be donated to Fundana
to support children and families affected by the earthquake (https://www.fundana.org). A portion of the
donations will also be donated to an animal rescue organization that
cares for animals who have lost their owners or homes in the
earthquake (https://www.instagram.com/famproa_oficial/).
Becoming a Bar Mitzvah means taking responsibility and living
the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam repairing the world through acts of
kindness and compassion. Thank you for helping me turn this
milestone into an opportunity to make a difference. Together, we can
bring hope and support to families and animals as they recover and rebuild.
