She believed she was building a future with her partner. He convinced her to take out a loan so they could move in together, but after the money was spent, he left her to face the debt alone. Since then, she has been doing everything she can to provide for their child.
She has even helped him financially in the past, including lending him money for expenses related to another of his children. Despite that, he does not provide financial support for their baby.
Today, my sister and her child are living in a single rented room, working hard every month just to keep a roof over their heads and make ends meet.
When she asked him for a small amount of financial help, the situation became frightening. He threw her belongings out of his car and physically assaulted her. No one should have to experience that while simply asking for support for their child.
We are raising funds to help her pay off this debt and give her and her baby the chance to rebuild their lives with stability and hope.
