Friends, super bass bud & overall wonderful human, Jenni Roberts, needs our support! More specifically, her mom Lauris needs support, as she is facing prohibitive costs for placement in a supportive living facility.You may remember that some money was already raised! And your generosity is deeply appreciated. Unfortunately, as they often do when we are navigating systems such as the medical complex, additional expenses have come up during this time of transition into Lauris' new home, and this additional fundraising will help close this gap. Not only that, amidst the heavy rainfall in Edmonton, there was also a flood in Jenni and Lauris' home! This is the true definition of "when it rains, it pours", and this means Jenni and Ariel are going to be in Lauris' house getting it ready for sale much longer than anticipated while they cleanup and repair the flood damage. They are responsible for the extra costs of insurance and Lauris' mortgage/condo fees until they sell. Thankfully, the sale should be quick, since the buyer is their neighbour. As a result, we are aiming to raise $4,000 immediately to support Lauris' living facility costs & flood recovery during this time.
Lauris needs a supporting living facility, and with the power of community and the steadfast care of Jenni, she is on her way there, but transitional costs have arisen.
