From Nigeria to a New Beginning in America Help the Ogbeifun Family Finally Reunite
My name is Jenny Davis, and I am asking for your help for a family that has spent eight long years waiting for the moment they can finally live together under one roof.
Samantha and Kingsley Ogbeifun have been separated from their children in Nigeria since 2018. For nearly a decade, their lives have been defined by hope, patience, and an unwavering commitment to bringing their children home.
During these years there have been moments when it seemed like the process was finally moving forward only for unexpected delays, new requirements, or complicated circumstances to arise. Each time the family gathered their strength, complied with every request, and kept pushing forward because giving up was never an option.
For six years Kingsley has traveled back and forth between the United States and Nigeria to keep the process alive and ensure his children were safe and supported. In the last two years those trips became longer and more frequent as the process grew more urgent and complex.
He spent extended time in Nigeria handling documentation, attending appointments, and navigating changing requirements while still trying to maintain responsibilities in America. Supporting responsibilities in two countries at the same time created an enormous financial burden, but their focus never changed. They simply wanted to bring their children home.
The cost of repeated international flights, extended stays, immigration documentation, processing fees, and related travel expenses has placed the family under serious financial strain. Still they continued moving forward because no sacrifice felt too great if it meant reuniting their family.
In December 2025 Samantha and Kingsley reached out to their United States Senator's office for help. The senator's team stepped in and worked alongside them, helping push the case forward and advocating for progress. At times when hope felt almost gone they continued to monitor the case and follow up on the family's behalf.
Then on February 25 at 8:05 in the morning something incredible happened.
The news they had been praying for since 2018 finally arrived.
Their children were officially cleared to come home.
Kingsley is scheduled to leave for Nigeria on March 14 where he will remain for approximately two months to complete the final immigration steps and personally bring his children back to the United States.
After eight years of waiting the moment they have dreamed of is finally within reach.
But the financial reality of completing this journey and preparing for their children's new life here has become overwhelming.
This fundraiser has a goal of 22,000 dollars. These funds will help cover:
- Final international travel and immigration completion costs - $15,000 total alone
- The significant debt accumulated from years of travel and immigration expenses
- Preparing a home for two teenagers arriving with only one bag of belongings each
- Clothing, shoes, bedding, and personal essentials
- School supplies and the everyday needs of teenagers starting life in America
- The many unexpected costs that come with starting over in a new country
After nearly a decade of waiting Samantha and Kingsley are not asking for luxury. They are asking for the chance to begin their life together as a complete family without the crushing weight of debt from the journey it took to get here.
Imagine waiting eight years to hug your children again.
Imagine counting the days, wondering when the moment would finally come.
That moment is finally here. Join the village rallying around this family by contributing any amount you feel you can.
Let's help them cross the finish line!
If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
Thank you for reading their story. Thank you for helping the Ogbeifun family finally reunite and begin their new life together in America. This reunion is an answer to patient, persistent prayer and will certainly begin a chapter of a unity and legacy for this special family.
With gratitude and all glory to God,
Jenny Davis
