Patricia Cindrich hasn't added a story.

On November 21,2023 while I was driving to work I went into a diabetic coma and hit a semi truck who was stopped at a red light going 70 miles a hour. I woke up in the hospital and I had no memory of hitting the truck. The first responders has to use the jaws of life to get me out of my car then I was sent to the hospital in a helicopter. I don't remember much of the first few days except every time I woke up all I felt was pain. I was overwhelmed by all the injuries I had sustained and all the surgeries I had to have. I shattered my left ankle I broke the fourth toe of my right foot I broke my right arm I broke three ribs I had a bruised liver and spleen I had a aneurysm in my spleen which is no longer functional I had acute hypoxic respiratory failure I broke my nose and shattered my upper mouth I had a cut on the back of my head I had burns on my left fingers I sustained minor brain injuries and I had severe bruises from the seatbelt. My blood sugar level was 500 a normal level is between 70 to a 100. I spent 2 weeks in ICU then I spent a month at a rehabilitation hospital. I missed Thanksgiving Christmas and the New Year. My oldest daughter was the first to be contacted and was at my side the entire time I was in ICU. She tracked down my car and took pictures. When she showed me the pictures of my car I knew then just how lucky I was to be alive. My guardian angels worked overtime that day. I realized that God must have a good reason for me to still be here. I left the rehabilitation hospital at the beginning of January. I have just recently been told by the orthopedic surgeon that I can start walking. I have to wear a medical boot on my left foot. I am still in a wheelchair. I go back to the doctor in a couple of weeks but it's going to be months before I am going to be able to walk without the boot. I am in constant pain because of my injurys and am very limited in what I am able to do in a day. I don't know when I will be able to go back to work. I am no longer able to do the work I love to do and have to find a new career. It's all very overwhelming. On top of all this I found out that my finance company with my car repossessed my car while I was in the hospital and it's been a nightmare for them to allow my insurance company to file a claim for a total loss on my vehicle. The worst part about all this is my purse is still in my car and they will not allow me to get it out. I am finding it very frustrating that I cannot go back to work especially since I've not worked since November 20th. And it does not look like I'll be going back to work anytime soon unless I can find a job where I don't have to walk. I have faith that things are going to turn around for the best I wake up every morning very grateful to be alive. And for the first time in my life when I stood up for the first time after being in a wheelchair for so long I felt so tall first time in my life I ever felt tall. I definitely have a new respect for anyone who's ever been in a wheelchair. So I'm trying to catch up with my life and I am looking for work of any kind because my bills are piling up I just started to receive my bills from my time in the hospital I got one bill for all the x-rays that they did that bill alone is $29,663. Then I received my hospital bill which is $163, 532.42. I'm still waiting for the bill for the helicopter ride and for the rehabilitation hospital. It's a little overwhelming. Not only that but I haven't paid rent for the last couple months that I was in the hospital I have a fabulous landlord that is very patiently going to wait for me to get back on my feet. I am the last person to ask anybody for help I'm usually the one helping everyone else so this is a new place for me to be I don't like it... but I am where I am and I need help please I will get back on my feet I will get a job I will move forward I have no doubt about that like I said God has a purpose and I am grateful to be alive so please anything will help no matter how small the donation. And if you can't donate at least share this post , I need all the help I can get god bless you
