HI, I'm Wrenne and I'm a 28 year old disabled person. I live with my abusive father and his abusive partner, and they've been escalating. On top of being denied medical care for long COVID for two years, they've recently begun to sexually harass me. My father makes six figures and claims that it's too much of a "financial burden" to get me medical care, yet he recently went on an expensive Caribbean vacation. I have friends halfway across the country in St. Louis who can provide me an emotional support network, but I desperately need to get out of New Jersey. The cost of living in NJ is far higher than it is in STL; I need money for an apartment, a few months of rent while I look for work, and a plane ticket + the costs of moving. I'm currently looking for a job here in Jersey to save up some money, but I've gotten no call backs.
