The Super-typhoon Rai, locally known as Typhoon Odette , massively wiped out Central Philippines, affecting major island groups in the Visayas. Negros Oriental is one of the Provinces largely affected by this horrific tragedy with its death toll and missing persons rising by the hour.
As of writing, the town of Manjuyod is still cut out from the rest of the Philippines with no electricity or assistance from the national government who fail to recognise the severity of the situation in the rural areas. The people there have lost their homes and loved. ones . They are starving and are in desperate need of basic resources such as food, clean water, clothing, and shelter.
I am asking for donations for the people of Manjuyod, Negros Oriental, Philippines. All proceeds will go directly to the local crisis team (no admin costs/ no charities) who are managing the situation in the local community. Please help the people to rebuild their lives and homes.
