HELP NEEDED FOR THE RELOCATION EFFORTS OF RESIDENTS LIVING DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM BROOKLYN CENTER POLICE DEPARTMENT
The residents, including children living in the four building apartment complex directly across from the Brooklyn Center Police Department ARE TRAUMATIZED & SUFFERING from the harmful effects of tear gas & pepper spray exposure due to the aggressive police tactics to subdue Daunte Wright protestors.
Tenants are traumatized, their children are traumatized and many are suffering side affects from the teargas and pepper spray that was deployed for some right in front of their balconies facing the Brooklyn Center Police Department. Many of the tenants do not feel safe and need help with relocation, replacing furniture, clothing, bedding, and other essential needs, moving truck rental to ensure a smooth transition moving to a safer location for many and their children.
We are a small team of community volunteers putting out this call to help for tenants and their children. Your HEALING SUPPORT will provide urgent aid in securing safe housing, and essential and basic needs for the tenants and their children. We are asking you to help us fund counseling and mental health support for ALL families and their children who have been severely traumatized by the unrest due to the killing of Daunte Wright. We’re asking for your help in showing these families that there is love in our world. Any and all funds generated through this Fundrazr exist solely for the benefit of the welfare of the tenants and their children, and this is the ONLY Fundrazr campaign created with the knowledge and consent of the tenants in the four building apartment complex directly across from the Brooklyn Center Police Department. All funds beyond immediate housing, food, and healthcare needs will be placed in trust for future community help and needs.
