Hi everyone, my name is Abby.  Karma is my 8 month old Husky, Shephard mix.  The husky in her has caused her to develop cataracts at a young age in both of her eyes.  She can no longer see out of her left eye and is rapidly losing her eyesight in her right eye. She is currently on prescription eyedrops 4 times a day to combat the inflammation that goes along with the cataracts. She will have to remain on them daily for the rest of her life unless we can get her cataract surgery.  The surgery in dogs is very much the same as in humans.  They will remove both of her lenses and replace them with artificial lenses to restore her vision and quality of life.  Because the new lenses are artificial she will not develop them again which will allow her to lead a happy healthy dog life. She is such a sweet, joyful, well behaved puppy with loads of personality.  She is my best friend and a loving member of the family.  Please donate to help restore Karma's eyesight so she can get her surgery and have the best quality of life possible.  No donation is too small and is greatly appreciated for my sweet baby.  Thank you to everyone for taking the time to read and share this about my Karma girl.
