ABOUT US
RebelionVEN is conformed by a group of young venezuelan students looking to serve as a platform to endow an organized resistance, which will allow to protect our warriors that are facing daily a violence escalade and brutal repression from the government authorities that recently ha turned around to a dictatorial goverment. There are many Young venezuelans that have been injured in the protest against the government and that is the reason for this iniciative. We are looking to provide them with implements that protect their physical integrity during the daily repression that are facing.
THE CAUSE:
During the last months, the Venezuelan government has been breaking the Constitution and many other laws, restricting even more the freedom of expression and cutting the fundamental rights of a democracy. At this moment, there is in Venezuela a self coup d`etat which has become in a dictatorial government, increasing the violation of human rights and restricting even more to the people their basic needs as food and medicines. Each and every day, malnutrition index rises, the death toll caused by the lack of medical supplies increases and there are more people looking for food in the garbage at the streets. This situation has motivated to the young students to lead among with political parties and the society to take the streets as a rebellion that only looks to change, in a democratic way, the change of the government through free elections, idea that has been blocked by the goverment. The wave of protest of that started in April has been escalating and with it, the government repression has take more than 1.500 people under arrest, more than 1.000 injures and 37 deaths, all of them younger than 25 years.
Every day of protest the victims are increasing, more of them with head trauma caused by rocks, bird shots and tear gas pumps fired straight to the head as other objects that authorities throw to protesters.
That is the reason why the goal of this campaign is to endow with helmets, gas masks, security glasses and gloves that helps to keep them away from injuries, reducing the number of victims and be able to face this painful battle that the government has decided to carry forward in the Venezuelan streets and that we are going to keep facing until we recover the respect to the Constitution and the democracy, that are totally necessary to have a free country.
With each 100$ you'll be collaborating with this for our young brave people of Venezuela:
- 50 safety helmets, to protect them from head shots.
- 95 safety glasses. To protect them from blunt objects.
- 10 gas masks, to protect them from the tear gas.

¿Quiénes somos?
RebelionVEN está conformada por un grupo de jóvenes estudiantes venezolanos cuyo objetivo es servir de plataforma para dotar a la resistencia organizada, de manera de poder proteger a nuestros guerreros que día a día hacen frente a una escalada de violencia y represión que ha iniciado el gobierno que recientemente ha dado un giro dictatorial. Muchos son los jóvenes que han sido heridos en estas manifestaciones antigubernamentales y por ello, nace esta iniciativa a fin de poder entregarles implementos que protejan su integridad física durante la represión diaria a la que se enfrentan.
La causa:
Durante los últimos meses, el gobierno ha venido irrespetando la Constitución y otras leyes, impidiendo cada vez más la libertad de expresión y cercenando los derechos fundamentales de una democracia.
Actualmente, existe un auto golpe de estado que ha devenido en un estado dictatorial, agravándose con ello la violación de derechos humanos y privando aún más al pueblo de las necesidades básicas como alimentos, y medicinas.
Cada vez son mayores los índices de desnutrición, las cifras de fallecidos por falta de insumos médicos y se han multiplicado las personas que buscan subsistir comiendo de la basura en las calles.
Todo esto ha llevado a los jóvenes estudiantes a liderar, junto con la sociedad civil y los partidos políticos una rebelión que sólo busca conseguir de una manera democrática el cambio de gobierno mediante elecciones, lo cual ha sido vetado por el actual gobierno. La oleada de protestas en Venezuela que comenzó en abril ha ido escalando y con ella, la represión dejando más de 1.500 detenidos, más de mil heridos y 37 muertos hasta los momentos, todos jóvenes menores a 25 años.
Cada día de protesta el número de víctimas asciende, la mayor parte de ellos con heridas en la cabeza, ocasionadas por el impacto de perdigones, piedras, bombas lacrimógenas y otros objetos contundentes.
Es por ello, que el objetivo de esta campaña es la dotación principalmente de cascos protectores, máscaras antigases, lentes de seguridad y guantes que ayuden a la protección física de nuestros jóvenes manifestantes, buscando así que el número de víctimas se reduzca, y de esta manera poder hacer frente a esta dolorosa batalla que el gobierno se ha empeñado en llevar adelante en las calles de toda Venezuela y que seguiremos enfrentando hasta restablecer el hilo constitucional y la democracia, fundamentales para recuperar la libertad en el país.
Estamos pidiendo ayuda a las comunidades de venezolanos alrededor del mundo y a todo ciudadano que se sienta identificado con nuestra lucha, esperando detener el derramamiento de sangre debido a la excesiva represión. ¡Juntos podemos alcanzar la meta, contamos contigo!
