We are still here and now occupy an area on the North end of the Oceti Sakowin Camp, the closest to the flood lights and police.
Our camp name is RED MEDICINE LIBERATION CAMP. Our camp is made up of many Indigenous Tribes and Nations that agree that this is more than a fight against one pipeline, but a fight for the Liberation of all Indigneous Peoples. Here at our camp, WE ARE ALL WARRIORS!
We have many honored guests and esteemed Elders and long-time Freedom Fighters & Warriors that come by our camp to stay and offer gratitude for holding this line, to offer their battle tested skills and knowledge. We are keeping this space here as a Liberated Zone, Liberated Lands.
We are raising funds to purchase:
- a camp truck with trailer
- winterize camp
- cook wood stove
- dry wood
- large water storage containers
- WATER delivery
- wild meat
- media equipment (laptop w/ editing software, good camera)
At
our camp we have organized many workshops, Each One Teach One
trainings and offer healing sessions, including:
- self-defence training
- traditional hand poke tattoo
- mural painting
- accupuncture and healing
- communications & marketing
- media making
Due
to the extreme North Dakota winters, much of our struggle has been to
stockpile dry wood and store large amounts of water. We are
requesting support to DONATE to our RED MEDICINE LIBERATION CAMP. We
are here keeping the homefires burning and maintaining this camp all
Winter.
We are continueing with our Each One Teach One trainings throughout
the Winter months, to continue to build revolutionary skills that will
benefit our fight against ALL PIPELINES!
