I am Dancing with the Chattanooga Stars to help support The Partnership for Families Children and Adults. The Partnership is a wonderful organization that serves so many people! They offer lots of great programs including Familiy Violence, Rape Crisis, Consumer Credit Counseling, Elder Services and Deaf Services. The program I am focusing on is Deaf Services. As a child I fell in love with sign language after the Jamaican Deaf Choir performed at my school. At a young age, I realized the Partnerhsip offered free sign language classes and I was there every time they opened their doors. I learned sign language and went on to obtain an associates degree in American Sign language. I have taught deaf children, volunteered in the deaf community and also was able to go back to Jamaica to help build a village for the deaf. I am so excited to be able to give back to the Partnership what they helped give me. Please help me in supporting this great organization!!
