Nyar has been failed numerous times by our benefits, housing and mental health systems in the UK.  She has been without any income whatsovever since April 2015.

    After Nyar lost her job in April, she experienced a mental health breakdown, which left her unable to work and for some weeks even unable to leave the house or even take or make a phonecall.

    Despite two suicide attempts, Nyar has yet to be allowed access to a psychiatrist.  The doctors she has seen have not provided referrals, and her situation has been dire for many months now.  She has been left dependent on the charity and good will of friends for many months now, none of whom are in a position to support her.  

    So this is an urgent appeal to get  Nyar and her two feline companions Oona and Asquiol home.  It might sound strange to many people, but Nyar's cats are what anchor her and keep her company, strengthening her will to live.  Nyar says "they are the most important thing in my life," and separating them would be severely detrimental to her mental health.

    So here's the nub of the issue and the reason for the campaign:  Nyar's flight is approximately £70.00, but to get the cats home with vet's bills and associated costs it will be approximately £570.00**, so please please give generously if you can.

    To try to encourage generous giving, we have secured donations from renowned esoteric and video game artist Laurence Viollet, which will be packaged complete with seal and animal bones (optional) to the highest bidders.  Please see the pictures within this description for details of the collection the prints will be selected from.

    Nyar is also a talented sculptor of figurines and will make 5 of these for dispatch to the next highest bidders.

**Update: We have decided to raise the target to £770 in order to give Nyar some minimal means of living between now and her and the cats depature date of the 15th December.  This will enable Nyar to buy food and esentials until she can leave for Austria.
