My name is Lasara Firefox Allen. I'm a writer, teacher, coach, activist. If you're reading this you probably already know me. You may know me IRL; from around the County, or from the festival scene, or from PantheaCon, or through my huge, extended family. You may know me through my writing - Sexy Witch (Llewellyn, 2005), The Pussy Poems (Treasure Finder Press, 2012), or one or more on my artricles online. You may be, or have been, one of my students, or a coaching client. You may know me through facebook, or twitter, or tumblr.
Regardless of how we've met or interacted, you're part of my community. My life is enriched by your presence in it. And I trust that the same is true for you; that my presence in your life in some way make it richer.
Since you know me, you probably already know that I'm writing my second book for Llewellyn. It's called The Fivefold Goddess. Just like Sexy Witch, it promises to ruffle some feathers, but more importantly it offers a model for a deeper level of female liberation with the Pagan/NeoPagan/Goddess Spirituality format.
I know, who knew that was needed??? Well, as it turns out, if you scratch the surface of the Maiden, Mother, Crone archetypal system, you find that at the root this model is a patriarchal construct.
How is that possibly true? Well, you'll have to wait for the book to
find out, OR sign up for my online class and initiation
cycle, which runs June 2 - July 14, 2015. (Registration is

The funds I'm raising here are to cover some basic living expenses through the month of writing I have left, and to get a little cheap motel to hide away in for the final week before deadline. (Any mamas reading will understand the need to leave the house for that final push!)
