"Harlo" - when someone mentions this name, the picture that comes to mind for most is a kind-hearted good guy. Harlo served in the Vietnam War where he was shot and contracted Hepatitis C as a result of a blood transfusion there and was also exposed to Agent Orange. After a long and courageous battle with these diseases, Harlo passed away on October 2, 2014. We are now looking to raise funds to cover funeral expenses. Any amount you can and are willing to give helps and will be greatly appreciated!

He has always had a passion for sports. He spent several years playing softball with his friends as first baseman. He also was known by many as "Chief Harlo Harlo" who would run out with the Dublin Coffman football team before home games. The players had so much respect for him that no one would pass him when running. He also utilized this passion and his connections to honor another well-deserving individual, helping raise thousands of dollars for the Christy Knotts Scholarship. He never asked for anything in return, simply because his desire was to help others in any way he could.

Harlo will always be remembered as a social, happy and loving man who would give and give until he had nothing left to offer. He has spent his life helping others and now is our time to give back to him! He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by those whose lives he deeply touched!
