Help to Control Street dogs & make safe old heritage touristic site, Bhaktapur
The Problem : Once in 2011 October Jessica from Holland come to visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. She was not aware of street dogs in the square, she was looking and wandering in the beautiful wooden art of 55 window palace. Suddenly, she step on the dog's tail and dog scared and bite on her leg. Quickly she brought to near about government hospital and get treatment in emergency.
Abandoned pets (dogs) are sitting everywhere in the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, they are sometime abandoned from the house or sometimes born in the street. These dogs are makes the street and touristic area unsafe. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is UN Heritage declare site for preserve it.
How to controlled it?
We have specific program to congrolled the street dogs. We vaccinate it not for breeding and anti rabis vaccine.
The Result :
The tourist and local people will be safe from the street dogs. When our project implement.
Duration : Duration will be about one year for treatment.
