This is Dino. He's just a year old now, and he has lived in a basement his entire life. He was abandoned at the kennel because his humans never came back for him. He needs our urgent help because Dino has nowhere to go. . 

My friend, Dawn, stumbled upon the boarding kennel in April and found four dogs living in the basement of that kennel. Dawn vowed to come back and rescue them, their sad faces remaining etched in her brain. She was brokenhearted for them. Dawn got them out, vetted them, had their spayed and neutered with her own funds and with help from big-hearted animal rescue supporters.

Dino is the last of the basement pups. He has been quite a challenge for Dawn. First off, he's black. Second, he was never really taught manners or been socialized, having been dumped at the kennel since he was a pup. Dino has lost his temporary home because of an emergency. Dawn has to put him in boarding. She cannot bring him home with her, as much as she'd love to, because she has cats.

Dino is so close to having a normal life. Lady Luck had briefly smiled at him when Dawn saw them that day. He needs a break, and Dawn and her group of networkers are making sure that Dino will find  the right home.  He is a very sweet pup, very good with people, but cannot be with small animals.
