My son was locked up in Sarasota ,Fla. back in 2007 for shooting a man in a parking lot. The beating he recieved was very bad. The young man was on drugs( Many of them). Had a very bad past of beating people. My son wasn't entitled to stand your ground. How ever the witnesses testifided that my son was going to die if man continued the beating. The state convinced the court that my son set out to kill him early that evening. However my son had never met him before ever. He was merely picking up his girlfriend from work at 3:00 clock in the morning. Not knowing anything about the law,I hired a lawyer who did nothing. My x-wife invested me in Costa Rica back in 2001 and we lost everything. I have never recovered from that. My son's conviction was over turned this year by the Supreme Court. He will recieve a new trial. Please help him and me. Thanks God Bless
